HTML

HTML is the standard markup language used to build websites and web applications. Web browsers can render HTML files and turn them into visible web pages. HTML is one of the most key building blocks of web applications and in order to develop for the web, you will need to be comfortable working with html and using html templates in your backend code.

• Understand how to author simple HTML using an editor
• Understand the structure of HTML documents and basic HTML syntax
• Understand how to use the most common set of HTML elements
• Understand how to use HTML form elements
• Understand how to use HTML attributes
• Understand how to use HTML and CSS together
• Understand what responsive design means and how to create responsive web pages
• Begin to explore Canvas and other HTML5 features
